In 10 days I will be a Bride, and while the excitement is growing so is the tension. As a normal bride-to-be, in the past 9 months I’ve had a few crying sessions, quite a few calls to my maid of honor, two Whatsapp group chats where all things wedding are discussed, a diary and wedding stuff in every corner of the house.
Since in just a couple days we are jumping on a plane, I have taken some time to go back and remember the amazing experiences I have had in this process, like the unforgettable weekend celebrating both my bachelorette and my bridal shower.
Since my wedding is in the Dominican Republic, followed by 3 nights at a resort with all the guests, I didn’t want to split these events and add more to the calendars (and wallets) of my loved ones, so we had a packed weekend a few months ago: sleepover on Friday with my 2 out of towners and sister in law; bachelorette Saturday (where 17 girls wooed during brunch, followed by an awesome boat ride in DC) and a beautiful bridal shower on sunday hosted by my Mother.
Although bachelorette photos will be limited, wanted to share some of the amazing details my mom and aunts put together for the bridal shower. Links below.
I feel so blessed to have these amazing women in my life, and even more to celebrate with most of them in the Dominican Republic in just a few days.
Did you like what my mom and aunts did for decor? Check out the credits and pass it along to your Maid of honor as a hint! 😉
P.S: I Loved that at the end my fiancé and the guys popped in to continue the festivities. Of course I made him take this cute photo 🙂
